Deep cycling of batteries and their characteristics
Deep cycling a battery is the process of almost completely discharging it before recharging it to its full capacity. This process is common in rechargeable batteries, such as lead-acid, nickel-cadmium, nickel-metal hydride, and some lithium-ion batteries.
